FAQ
How much does SeatGeek charge sellers?
SeatGeek collects a 10% fee when your tickets sell: you are paid your listing price minus 10%. (Checked on November 6, 2026.)
How is my SeatGeek payout calculated?
Your payout is your listing price minus the SeatGeek seller fee, multiplied by the number of tickets. This calculator then takes off what you paid and any other costs to give your profit.
How do I work out my profit on resold tickets?
Take the listing price, subtract the marketplace's seller fee to get your payout, then subtract what you paid for the tickets (fees included) and any delivery or payment costs. What is left is your profit; divide it by what you spent for your return on investment.
What is the break-even price?
The listing price per ticket at which your payout, after the seller fee, exactly covers what you spent. List below it and you lose money, even if the price looks higher than what you paid.
How do I know what a ticket will actually sell for?
Look at real sales, not at listings: Eventory shows the tickets sold, the average and highest sale price and the listings for every event, free. Price from what the event is selling for, then check your margin here.
