# Find the biggest movers with MarketTIQ

> MarketTIQ at /market is a table of events ranked by what they are doing: tickets sold over 24 hours, 3, 7 and 30 days, average ticket price over the same windows, availability, get-in price and capacity. Sort by a column to put the biggest movers on top, use the filters to limit the field to the artists, dates and price bands you trade, and click a row to load its Active trends, Sales trends and Sales history in the widgets above. It is part of Market Intelligence.

## Before you start

- A signed-in account with Market Intelligence. Without it the page shows a teaser.

## Steps

### 1. Open MarketTIQ and pick a time window

Go to [/market](https://eventory.ai/market). The page is a search box, three widgets and the Events table. The widgets belong to one event at a time, the one marked Selected at the top right, and their trend range, 1w, 1m, 3m or All, decides how far back they look.

Start by sorting the table; pick the event to study once the sort has put it in front of you.

*MarketTIQ: the selected event's Active trends, Sales trends and Sales history above the events table.*

### 2. Sort by the movement you care about

Click a column header to sort. Sold 24h, Sold 3Days, Sold 7Days and Sold 30Days rank by velocity; ATP 1Day, 3Days, 7Days and 30Days rank by average ticket price over the same windows. Get-in and Avg price are the current levels.

Sorting by Sold 24h descending is the fastest answer to "what is selling right now". Sorting by ATP 7Days against Avg price is how you spot an event whose recent sales price has moved away from its overall average.

- Event Name, Event Date, Venue, City, Country, Capacity.
- Total Qty. and Available: the size of the event and what is left.
- Sold 24h, 3Days, 7Days, 30Days: velocity over four windows.
- ATP 1Day, 3Days, 7Days, 30Days: price over the same four windows.
- Get-in and Avg price: where the market is now.

### 3. Narrow the field with the filters

Open MarketTIQ filters with the funnel icon beside the search box. Event date takes a From and To. Artist limits the table to the artists you follow. First presale / onsale limits to events going on sale in a window, which is the filter for planning rather than reacting. Parking keeps or drops parking passes.

Below them are range sliders with a histogram behind each, so you can see where the market sits before you drag: Sold 24h, Avg price and the rest of the metrics. Clear resets everything; Show results applies.

- Parking: All events, Exclude parking or Parking only, since parking passes are listed as events and distort the sorts.

### 4. Read the widgets above the table

Click a row and the three widgets switch to that event. Active trends plots its availability and price over the range, Sales trends its sales, and Sales history lists the latest sales with section, row, price, quantity and time, filterable to one section with All sections.

Use them to sanity-check a sort: an event at the top of Sold 24h whose Active trends show listings piling up is a different trade from one whose availability is draining.

### 5. Open the event and act

Open the event page from the row to read everything the widgets summarised. From there, set a monitor on the event or a Tracker on the metric that caught your eye.

The search box above the widgets finds one event by name, artist, venue, id or link when you want to see where it ranks rather than browse.

## Reading velocity against price

The two families of columns are designed to be read together. Sales up and ATP up is a tightening market; sales up and ATP down is a seller clearing stock; sales flat and ATP up is a listing-price drift that may not hold. The four windows let you see whether a move is a day old or a month old.

Capacity and Available give the denominator: a hundred tickets sold is a different fact in a club than in a stadium, and Primary percentage sold in the filters is the shortest way to compare across sizes.

## What MarketTIQ is not

It ranks events on Eventory's collected data; it does not watch a ticketing site live. For the moment tickets appear on a site you need a monitor, and for a threshold on one of these metrics you need a Tracker. MarketTIQ is where you decide which events deserve either.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why is the page blurred for me?

MarketTIQ is part of Market Intelligence. The blurred table is a teaser with placeholder figures; a plan opens the real data. See [Monitors or Market Intelligence](https://eventory.ai/docs/guides/monitors-or-market-intelligence).

### What is ATP?

Average ticket price: the mean price of the tickets sold in the window. ATP 7Days is the average over the last seven days of sales.

### Why do parking passes show up as events?

Marketplaces list them as events, and they sell in volume, so they would top the sorts. The Parking filter removes or isolates them.

### Does the table include every event on Eventory?

It covers the events with market data in the selected window. Use search for a specific event that is not in the current filter.

- [Read an event page](https://eventory.ai/docs/guides/read-an-event-page): Every tab, KPI and chart on an Eventory event page: resale sales and prices, Ticketmaster inventory, VividSeats listings, artist and venue data, and the Advanced Data table.
- [Find events with advanced search](https://eventory.ai/docs/guides/find-events-with-advanced-search): Find events by what they are doing: filter by Ticketmaster availability and price or by artist audience, sort by any metric, and switch between cards and a table.
- [Create a Tracker on an event or artist](https://eventory.ai/docs/guides/create-a-tracker): Set up a Market Intelligence Tracker: choose an event or artist, build a rule from the metric catalogue and the operators, combine conditions, and get the alert by email or webhook.
